Therapeutic Modalities:

Across campus, all staff are trained in community resiliency model interventions - this includes psychoeducation around the nervous system and regulation skills.  All staff are trained in regulation skills and distress tolerance skills pulled from cognitive behavior therapy and dialectical behavior therapy.  All staff are trained in assertive communication skills that are taught to all students to support social skills development.  All staff are trained in principles of trauma-informed equine assisted psychotherapy, which translates to social skill development, regulation skills, and trust-building.

Our primary therapists have many specialties in order to provide individualized care that is most effective for each of the unique profiles of our students and families.

- Experiential approaches, expressive arts therapy, sandtray, recreational therapy.
